The major hormone is thyroxin, also called T4 Thyroid hormones perform all over the body, influencing metabolism, growth and development, and body temperature. mainly this is endocrine disorder.

Below are some of the quick tips that can help you understand how to lose or manage weight with hypothyroidism.

Avoid intake of below foods in Raw Form: Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, kidney beans (rajma), bajra, etc. contain anti-nutritional compounds called goitrogens, which inhibit the uptake of iodine in the thyroid gland which then affects the thyroid hormones production. It’s essential to avoid their intake in raw form, but can be consumed after cooking them thoroughly.

  • Add probiotic in diet like curd, yogurt, buttermilk

  • Low fat diet (exclude butter, cheese, and hydrogenated fat like bakery and fried , packed foods
