Quinoa Pulao Recipe


  • White Quinoa 1 cup (soaked for 1 hr. and cook in cooker )

  • Olive oil 1tsp tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Ginger finely chopped 1 inch

  • Garlic chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Carrot cut into small cubes 1 small

  • French beans/zucchini diagonally sliced 6-8

  • Green peas

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander for garnishing


  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds

  2. Add, ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute. Add onion and sauté till light golden.

  3. Add carrot and mix. Add French beans, mix and cook for a minute. Add peas and mix.

  4. Add boil quinoa, mix and cook for a minute. Add salt and warm on high heat. Reduce heat, mix, cover and cook till quinoa is fully done.

  5. Serve hot garnished with torn coriander sprigs.
