Broccoli Mushroom Soup Recipe


  • 1/2 bunch broccoli

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms

  • 2 medium carrots, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 garlic clove,

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice


  1. Cut broccoli in small size pieces. Peel and chop stalks.

  2. In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute mushrooms until tender, 4-6 minutes. remove from pan.

  3. In same pan, heat oil add garlic and onion sauté for few minutes add broccoli and carrot ,cook until broccoli get soft add 2 cup water

  4. Blend it in soup consistency return to pan. Add mushrooms; bring to a boil. Add lemon juice and black pepper.

Benefits: Broccoli soup is rich in nutrients and less in calories and people who wants to Weight loss at home they can have this as part of their dinner.
